Chairman, FS Sistemi Urbani

In 2017 he was appointed as Chairman of FS Sistemi Urbani.
Since 2016 he is the Chairman of Grandi Stazioni Immobiliare.
From 2009 to 2017 was the CEO of FS Sistemi Urbani, the in–house company of FS Group, in charge of transformation of disused railways yards, no more functional to railway operations in new urban districts, in particular on assets close to railway stations, intermodal hubs and transport infrastructures
From 2003 to 2006 was the Chairman and CEO of the logistics company SGT and was appointed as Chairman of Centostazioni company from 2007 to 2011.
From 2000 to 2009 he was the chief of the passenger and freight terminals business unit of RFI, company of FS that manages the railway infrastructure and was in charge of the management of 2.500 passenger railway stations and 400 freight terminals.
He managed planning and construction of the new High Speed railway stations such as Roma Tiburtina, Torino Porta Susa, Firenze AV, Reggio Emilia AV, Napoli-Afragola, Bologna AV, involving relevant architects (Foster, Isozaki, Desideri, Piano, Hadid, Calatrava, etc.)
He was graduated in transportation engineering and has been employed in the Italian Railway Company (FS Group) since 1977.
